- All staff, volunteers, contractors, and board members receive training in confidentiality and sign annual agreements to uphold these standards.
- Information is only shared with written consent from families, and only by authorized team members.
- When families are navigating separation or divorce, we work with sensitivity and clarity to ensure all guardians understand and agree to how information is shared.
- Client files are securely stored and accessed only by those who need the information to support the child or family.
- Reports and assessments are co-developed with families and shared only with their permission.
- Consent to Share forms are reviewed regularly and updated as needed to reflect families’ wishes and circumstances.
Accountability:
Any breach of confidentiality is taken seriously and addressed through appropriate investigation and action, always with the goal of maintaining safety and trust.
