The Shuswap Children’s Association recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of its clients, its staff, and the organization itself, and follows procedures to ensure the confidentiality of any relevant information is maintained.
Staff, Board of Directors, Volunteers
Staff, Board of Directors, Volunteers are required to sign confidentiality forms that indicate they have received and understood the instructions
Client Information
All confidential client information, both electronic and paper is kept secure. Information is available to employees on a need-to-know basis. Information is available to clients, parents/guardians and to others as requested or authorized by parents or guardians.
Client Reports
Staff from time to time assess the development of children receiving services from us and prepare reports based on the service they are providing. Assessments and reports are presented to parents/guardians when completed and may be released to others working with the children, at the request and/or consent of the parents/guardians.
