Occupational Therapy

Our Goal To provide community based occupational therapy services for children ages 0-school age, where parents have a concern regarding development in the areas of;

  • fine motor movement with objects
  • hand movement with objects
  • how they see and move around
  • self-care activities (dressing, eating and hygiene)
  • understand your child’s use of their senses (sight, smell, touch, hear, taste)

Our Philosophy We believe that when children and families need help because of the various needs of their children:

  • support is best provided in the child’s natural environment
  • families are the decision makers for their children’s care
  • families set the goals for their children and are essential in meeting them
  • our services work best when family members are full participants in therapy

Services Provided:

  • Information for families and caregivers
  • Helping families set goals for their children’s development
  • Regular home or centre visits
  • Improving development and/or quality of life by teaching your child new skills or ways of doing things
  • Providing families with recommendations to help meet their goals

Referrals: Family members, caregivers or others working with the child may contact us, provided they have the family’s permission.
